Job responsibilities:

1. Work closely with Engineer team to source new vendor/components. Negotiate price based on an in-depth understanding of product and components.

2. Follow up the new product development according to project milestone and control the cost to ensure the cost is within target during development.

3. Assess suppliers and factories capabilities, capacity and performance.

4. Ensure all supplier quotations and samples are completed on a timely basis for appropriate decision making to meet objectives.

5. Site visits and vendor evaluation based on company demand. 

6. Identify key strengths and core business including OEM/ODM products that may be considered in our portfolio. 

7. Collaborate with the team to negotiate better terms. 

8. Achieve agreed savings and process optimization and improvement.

9. Research and reporting on key vendors in the toy industry in China and other regional countries. 

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or related degree required; preference for Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.

2. Above 5 years of working experience in sourcing related functions in toys field, familiar with the processing of the plastic, electronics and plush toys. 

3. Good understanding of cost drivers for the components of metal parts, electronics and fabric.

4. Strong management skills to work across all functional team and a good team player.

5. Strong ability to manage multiple projects and timelines and keep them on track.

6. Use expertise to make professional recommendation.

7. Strong network of professionals in toys industry to leverage sourcing skills. 

8. Good mindset ,negotiate skill, work with passion and motivation.

9. Have a good command of English both of oral and reading.

10. Able to work effectively under pressure.

自主开发设计玩具产品包括塑胶、毛绒、电子等，多款畅销产品Zhu Zhu Pets, Bananas等，主要针对欧美市场。开发和生产的合作工厂主要在广东境内。
前期设计工作主要在美国完成，深圳公司负责跟进开发和生产流程。
