Help us run and improve our Finance in Asia The opportunity:

As a result of our global expansion, we're looking to hire a Finance Operations Associate team member for Flexport Asia to join our growing Asia Team. You will be part of Flexport’s Global Finance and Accounting Team which collaborates as a strategic partner to clients, partners, and all internal departments. We need someone able to create strong processes and provide coverage in all time zones to keep up with our rapid international growth!

You will:

• Responsible for processing bills into our system and audit invoice accuracy and approval before remitting payments
• Reconcile outstanding payment requests to vendors and monitor AP Aging reports, ensuring timely payment to all vendors and priority payment to such designated vendors
• Recommend process improvements to save time reviewing/processing vendor payments
• Provide support to the AP team for accounting, which includes bank account reconciliations, journal entries, month end close support
• Work with Financial Systems support and IT to resolve technical issues

You should have:

• Bachelor in Accounting or related discipline with strong interests in finance & accounting;
• Fresh graduate is preferred
• Next-level attention to detail;
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills;
• Passionate about accounting, finance, logistics and international trade!
