Honeywell Aerospace has a unique and exciting Director of Customer Marketing position at its Shanghai, China campus overseeing the Asia Pacific region’s marketing efforts. The job scope spans brand and reputation, sales lead and revenue generation, and both the customer and employee experience and overseeing our major marketing agency vendor relationships.
Honeywell Aerospace is a business division of Fortune 100 Honeywell International, and the Aerospace group has approximately 34,000 employees around the world and 2018 revenue of about $12.8 billion. This APAC leadership position includes management of a small region-wide team, sizeable spending and capital budget. Marketing areas include but are not limited to digital and print advertising, website, events, crisis communications, public relations, social media, executive and employee communications and engagement and many more emerging marketing areas. Reporting to the Global VP of Marketing for Aerospace and President of the Aerospace APAC business, the position covers all Aerospace businesses led through four divisions and six market segments and sits on the Aerospace APAC leadership team.

Responsibilities
? Leading and managing a sizeable budget, small team located in several different countries and extensive agency/vendor network.
? Working with key stakeholders and highly matrixed organization to create and execute regional marketing, PR and internal communication strategies for customers and prospects that differentiate the Honeywell Aerospace brand in the markets we target and generate sales leads and revenue.
? Managing key marketing and PR agency partnerships, including “plus-one” global leadership of the success of our top three agency vendors.
? Understand and develop campaigns and programs that leverage the increasingly large digital marketing options, along with traditional media, trade shows and events, advertising, customer reference, public relations and websites – to enhance and expand brand awareness, revenue generation and the employee and customer experience across internal and external audiences.
? Expand Aerospace’s presence and sales in high growth regions.
? Constantly capture, analyze and report insights on the results from various digital marketing and PR efforts to expand, stop or fine-tune marketing tactics.
? Develop strong Honeywell relationships in a highly matrixed environment, across the Aero business, other Honeywell divisions and the region.
? Facilitate productive relationships between Aerospace and the Honeywell Connected Enterprise and Corporate teams.
? Provide proactive, engaged direction and leadership for team members (including direct and indirect reports) with a focus on professional development, team optimization and speed.
Basic Qualifications
? Proficiency in integrated marketing and communication strategies, competitive analysis, data analytics, budgeting and the ability to drive plans and alignment across many stakeholders are critical dimensions of this role.
? Proven experience in working with top executives, and in a highly matrixed environment.
? In-depth knowledge and experience of the region, its macroeconomic and geopolitical environments are strongly preferred and key success factors for this role.
? Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications or related field; MBA preferred.
? Minimum 10 years of marketing, sales or related experience.
? This position is based in Shanghai, China, the region’s headquarters. The candidate must be authorized to work in China, the United States and other Asian countries.
? Experience managing geographically-dispersed teams.
? Excellent written and spoken English; other languages (Mandarin, others) a significant benefit.
? Self-directed, highly motivated, results-driven – and a “win and have fun” attitude to work and managing people and projects
Additional Qualifications
? Strong understanding of various Asia labor and government dynamics and context strongly preferred.
? Experience operating in ambiguous, interrupt driven and dynamic environment with evolving requirements, expectations and organizational needs.
? Strong program management skills, with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
? Knowledge of the aerospace industry, or the proven ability to rapidly gain that knowledge.
? Exceptional relationship-building and influencing skills to drive engagement with senior leaders, peers and customers across the region and around the world.
? Excellent presentation, writing, and analytical skills.
? Creative and strategic thinker who has a proven track record in turning plans and ideas into actionable programs that meet and exceed goals.
? Strong persuasion/negotiation skills.
