Essential Function 1:Align organization to market needs

1.Assure focus mainly on Chinese local customers and a few selected key customers

2.Coordination of technical service/application development activities with sales managers

Essential Function 2: Ensure effective promotion of products

1.Ensure technical service/application plans existing for local customers and a few selected key customers

2.Analyze competitor market activities, benchmark of product performance to key competitor products3Customer visits and initiation of development partnerships with customers

Essential Function 3:Technical service focussed on business development

1.Manage customer projects to get technical approval of proposed product

2.Define product modifications and new product developments needed to generate additional business

3.Identify new customers and appliation needs for existing product range

Essential Function 4:Application know how and new product development

Ensure constant development of application know how and new product in technical team2.Coordinate support requirements with other technical personnel in the region

Essential Function 5:Lab safety management and plant support

1Lab 5S/safety management to meet Clariant safety standard

2Provide qualification and other technical application supports to plant

3.Support plant in handling customer complaints & out of spec products
