Outstanding opportunity to join Handpicked Wines, a dynamic family-owned Australian company that invites wine lovers to travel the world, one wine at a time. You will be responsible for driving growth for the brand across all levels of the distribution chain and will work closely with our importer, distributors and their sales teams. This role offers a diverse multichannel experience engaging with retail, online and large on-premise groups. You will also have input into appropriate sponsorship and event activities, in conjunction with the Australian marketing team and the importer

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 1.Achieving sales in key accounts as per budget expectations

 2. Identifying and delivering new business across channels

 3.Negotiating favourable terms and promotional campaigns

 4.Developing annual sales plans and budgets in consultation with manager

 5.Managing all internal and external stakeholder relationships professionally to enhance business outcomes

 6.Working closely with sales teams/activation team to ensure marketing plans are executed appropriately and to the brand standard

 7.Adhering to best practice in all administrative areas and providing concise communication with all key stakeholders across the various business segments

 8.Managing brand channel strategy

 9.Having a good command of both English and Chinese

Running regular sessions for staff education and brand promotion

Ideally you have a proven record of nurturing and developing stakeholder relationships (internal and customer-facing). Your key account experience is multi-channel (retail, on-premise and online) and preferably gained in the wine industry, though training will be provided for the right applicant. Your industry experience is complemented by sound negotiation skills, commercial acumen, analytical and relationship-building abilities and a passion for wine. WSET qualifications, Chinese language skills and a right to work in/currently residing in China is desirable. This role is ideally based in China and moderate travel is expected.
