Job description

- Industrial Motor Control Competence Center, Industrial Transportation and Consumer motor control (golfcart, ebikes, drones, robot cleaners etc), to provide application and FW / HW solution support;

- To establish cooperation links with the key technical interfaces of major customers in China Area;- To establish links and cooperate with educational institution / universities for research and development of new algorithms

- To help define new system architectures, together with the team, for the development of new solutions based on market trends and needs;

- To design new solutions, and develop related firmware and hardware, to cover all in-application criticalities;

- To cooperate with Sales/Marketing in order to provide Technical Support to customers and build up Technical Intelligence;

- To deliver technical seminars and demonstrations, to help customers to understand ST technologies and solutions;

- To cooperate with Division/SRA Labs for New Product Proposals/New Solution Proposals/Deployment and localization to regional customer requirements;

- To maximize designs-in for ST total solution from whole portfolio;

- To benchmark ST solutions vs competition and create competition analysis;

Profile

- Master degree or above: automatic control (oriented to AC motor control or drive), power electronics or other related majors.

- Experience in Industrial Transportation and Consumer motor control (golfcart, ebikes, elevators, drones, robot cleaners, fitness etc) and related standards and regulations;

- Knowledge of Permanent Magnetic Synchronous Motor / Induction motor and control methods;

- Experience in developing solutions to control PMSM / ACIM motors (FOC, V/f, six step etc)

- Warm-hearted in solution development, problem solving, learn new technologies

- Good capability in microcontroller firmware coding (C language), aligning with specifications and code versioning tools

- Good capability in HW design, schematics & layout drawing

- Good capability to prepare development documents

- Good capability to smoothly communicate with customers and trouble-shooting on site- Teamwork spirit
