Key Responsibilities:

Work is typically performed under minimal daily supervision, receiving guidance from supervisor about the work that needs to be completed.  Able to exercise high level of discretion and latitude in completing tasks.

 

• Apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, organize and manage information systems projects. 
• Serve as a liaison to the integration process, partnering with end users from multiple function and applications teams including integration, business intelligence and reporting, and web applications. 
• Responsible for all aspects of project management including: leadership of assigned projects, project scoping and deliverables, internal and external customer management, project estimating, task planning, budgeting, forecasting, resource planning, project tracking, status reporting, issues management, and coordinating consultants.
• Develop a thorough understanding of the business processes that the development teams (in house and outsourced) support.
• Collaborate with the various teams to develop detailed business, functional, technical requirements, use cases and expected results/acceptance criteria.
• Perform other related duties including testing functionality and participates in special projects as assigned.
• Lead the implementation of IT approved projects and responsible entire project deliverables.
• Create and manage the budget for all assigned projects.

Job Requirements

Required Skills/Qualifications:  

Bachelor degree in discipline related to the IT field or role with 3-5 years of relevant work experience OR demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable number of years of applicable work experience.

• Able to apply appropriate solutions learned through experience and proficiency in understanding the job.  Must be able to recognize anomalies and critical situations and respond appropriately. 
• Must be able to proactively listen to others to understand issues and situations.  Must be able to clearly articulate business needs to both internal and external customers and have experience fostering cross-functional communication, understanding and consensus.
• Experience handling agile methodology projects of varying size, scope and budget.
• Experience working as a liaison between business and IT.
• Assertive, professional and polished - must be able to self-manage and communicate effectively up and down the hierarchy.
• Demonstrated work ethic.
• Takes initiative and accountability, and is comfortable leading others and holding them accountable to project deadlines and milestones.
• Prior hands-on background in data management software applications, preferably in a data intensive environment, is a plus
