As a ZYGO Application Engineer, you will interface with engineers and technicians who use ZYGO products in many different applications and industries. You will gain exposure to customers through a variety of interactions such as conducting sales demonstrations in collaboration with our sales team, providing training and carrying out service mandates. 

  

Key Responsibilities:

  

• Provide applications training on Zygo technologies to our customer base.

• Support the sales department by performing technical demonstrations and benchmarks

• Provide customers with solutions that best fit their needs in order to progress towards the purchasing processes

• Perform pre and post applications engineering projects at customers’ sites

• Act as the reference in the use and knowledge of Zygo product lines and support internal customers in their operations

• Participate in technical writing activities such as training manuals and marketing materials

• Providing technical after-sales support for customer to help insure successful use of Zygo system

   

  Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Optical Engineering and/or Physics

• Be willing to travel throughout China (50%)

• Demonstrate autonomy and initiative

• Experience teaching and training is desired

• Experience with surface form analysis and optical metrology will be advantageous

• Good communication skills

• Proficiency in English written and verbal communication.
