Position Description: About this position: "Product Assurance Project Manager" is a critical position to launch the system product in a timely manner with good enough quality level. It covers E2E product quality including User Experiences; project risk management by monitoring test progress; development phase (schedule) control; test management (planning/reporting); process control; mitigation recommendation to critical risk items; highlighting critical risks early by reporting. Roles and responsibilities: - Project Risk Management which includes defect management, risk level assessment, risk reporting and risk mitigation plan proposal. - Development phase control to declare phase entry or exit based on criteria and data. - Test management which requires frequent communication with test execution team in different sites to make sure all the test activities are on track. It is also required to monitor defects found in test activities and as the consequence propose regression tests for solution validation or risk assessment.- Process control is dedicated job to PA PM. All kinds of qualification process should be created, reviewed and issued by PA PM co-working with proper levels of management, working groups and/or individuals.- People management is NOT required, but individual leadership contributes in project management.Key Interaction with:- Development teams (TPM, EE/ME/SW engineers, contractors, Mfg, Procurement)- ODM and joint venture coworkers- PA colleagues and contractors- Higher management in ThinkPad- Quality team in Morrisville / ChinaPosition Requirements: Must Have- Skills / Experiences of Project management or PMP (certification)- Fundamental knowledge of either of Electronics, Mechanicals or Software area- Fluent on English conversation- Curiosity to technologiesGood to have- PMP certified- Experience on AI or Big Data area
