This position is responsible for document check and perform lab test work. He/she works closely with merchandiser, project engineer and quality engineer for all testing and quality issues.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Compliance document check

-Research product compliance (EU&US) standards (RoHS/REACH/food contact/LVD/ERP/EMC/FCC/UL) applicable to the company's products. keep up to date norm& directives.

-Prepare product compliance requirements for each project. Follow projects, compliance process with cross function teams and issue review with suppliers.

-Review test report or other compliance technical files from supplier or third-party lab to make sure all tests in line with the regulatory requirements.

-Work with cross function teams to review all new designs/features to identify all applicable corresponding test requirements

-Compliance failure problems solving and improvements

2.Lab test activities

-Conduct daily FFU (fit for use), Safety and endurance lab testing activities in our lab.

-Prepare test report.

-Communicate test result to internal parties.

3. Technical support for various project development

-Work with Merchandisers and suppliers on new developments to conduct evaluations and testing needed to confirm full compliance to all applicable mandatory standards and customer-specified requirements.

-Support on failure analysis and search solutions in construction / material / workmanship for all testing failures.

-Communicate with external laboratories/institute for support

Requirements and Qualifications:

1. Basic Requirements

-College degree or above with electronics or electric majority.

-At least 10 years experience in test lab or household /consumer electrical product manufacturer with certification / testing background.

2. Knowledge

-Knowledge of certification document requirement for EU and USA market.

-Familiar with both LVD/UL and EMC/FCC, Familiar with lab testing in FFU (fit for use) and Safety.

-Familiar with European standard/norm and chemical requirements (ROHS/PAHs/PHTHALATE/REACH/NP).

-Strong knowledge and experiences in lab test for SDA (Small domestic Appliance), PC (personal care products) and CE (Consumer electronics) products, including safety, performance and reliability test.

3. Skills / Key competencies

-Fluent English in writing and reading.

-Good communication and reporting skills.

-Able to handle multi-tasks and work under pressure.

-Good connection with different third-party laboratory.

-Good computer skills in MS office

4. Personal Attributes

-Highly self-motivated, able to work independent, creative, organized and with an eye for details

-Reliable and trustworthy

5. Others

-Experience in third part lab will be a definite advantage
