Circ is looking for a Lead Engineer IoT  who drives development and implementation of all IoT projects in China to ensure excellent client centric  and an outstanding end-to-end customer experience.

  

Close collaboration with the China Managing Director and the HQ executive team in Berlin guarantees an exciting participation on global projects. This position assumes a broad range of tasks including staffing, process development, production planning and quality assurance.

  

 

  Responsibilities and Duties   

  

• Evaluate and identify high performance electronic solutions by leveraging a strong understanding of requirement, domain knowledge, hardware design
• Track technology trends, exercises judgment in selecting solution, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
• Analyze situations, gather relevant information, find solutions to hard-to-comprehend problems, make sound decisions, think creatively, and accurately assess people's skills and abilities
• The ability to follow or establish quality metrics/process to reach customer expectations or beyond customer expectations
• Coach and mentor engineers to get a solid growth of engineering maturity
• Develop all kinds of communication IoT solution for micro mobility products, including requirement analysis, schematics design, PCB design, design calculation, trouble shooting and reliability design
• Actively participate on, and at times lead the cross-functional teams to develop new product as well as address design issues or maintenance of existing products
• Coordinate with project team to create and release product requirements, design specifications and demo
• Be responsible for recording and sharing technical knowledge and experience
• Evaluate product potential risks and challenges, feasibility of existing/new technology, recommend design modifications

Develop and execute the cost reduction cases for new and released product

Qualifications

  

• Bachelor and above degree with major in computer science, electrical engineer or similar  
• Familiar with EDA software, such as Cadence, PSpice etc.
• Familiar with Wireless design and verification/certification. i.e. Wi-Fi, BLE and NB-IoT.
• Familiar with product verification and troubleshooting skills
• Deep process knowledge of the PCB and PCBA development
• Familiar with low-power consumption design.
• Excellent analog and digital circuit design and calculation capability
• Excellent DFx design capability.
• Excellent EMC design capability.
• Excellent Switching mode power supply design capability (SMPS).
• Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form in English and in Chinese and to interface with in a wide range of organizations both internally and externally
