We are looking for a director level engineering leader for CE (customer engineering) team. In this position, you will lead engineering teams in a mixed principle including software/hardware/RF/modem/production tools, to provide integrated technical support to JLQ customers for smartphone and AIoT designs. You will be responsible for engineering resource arrangement, team capability build, technical readiness. You will also be working closely with CPMs and customers’ engineering leaders on daily basis, prioritize projects and coordinate/lead the team to maximize efficiency.

  

  

Qualifications:

  

1. MS in engineering principle. 10+ years technical experience in smartphone industry or related field

2. 5+ years engineering team management experience, preferable a mixed principle engineering team

3. Strong customer communication skill and rich experience to interact with customers

4. Wide hardware/software system and architectural knowledge on SoC, Embedded, communication, IoT etc.

5. Must be highly efficient, self-driven, object oriented, open minded, multi-tasking and be able to lead the team under customer pressure.

6. Willing to facilitate team members and reporting managers/leaders, coaching the team, addressing team’s concern, and driving for business success.

            

  

Additional qualifications：

  

1. Strong technical background on two or more areas in system hardware design, Linux/Android software, modem technology, WIFI, RF, AI, SoC.

2. Experience of managing a multi-location team.

3. Result oriented and out of box thinking.
