About the Role:

Primary Commitment: Ensure high level of Supply Chain Effectiveness through accurate and timely maintenance of Item Data within all Manufacturing Systems. 

 

Responsibilities:

? Create new Template Items within E1 and associated systems. Includes:

o Item Master and Item Branch

o Bills of Material (BOM) and Routes

o Item Cross-referenceso Costing

? Support creation of Color Variant performed by Sales through Auto Item Generation

? Perform updates to existing Item data necessary to support:

o Engineering Change Orders

o Manufacturing Change Orders

o Vendor Transitions

o Deviations and all other Configuration Management activities

? Perform Item Creation and Maintenance to support New Product Development - includes managing transition of data to fully Commercial Item

? Research product change impact to ensure all products affected are identified and any issues resolved. Coordinate the implementation of the data.

? Manage product data according to applicable documented practices

? Perform tasks to support the Item Data portion of the Item Obsolescence process

? Provide process training to groups/new users if needed

Required Qualifications:

• University graduate Degree in Manufacturing, Operations degree
• At least 3 years working experience with supply chain or Product Data Management (especially experience with systems data/item hierarchy and initial set up of data structure (i.e. implementation of a new data system or setting up a new site);
• Desktop and ERP software system experience – especially E1
• Working knowledge of item structure and master data set up, including BOM’s and Routes
• Capability to focus on a very detailed level
• Comfortable with tactical daily work
• Flexible
• Team player
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Good written and spoken English
• Passionate / Energetic

Desired Qualifications: Product Management experience is desired.
