职位描述

SUMMARY OF JOB:

You work out of Shanghai, China, in a global role for the Services Line Of Business. You represent Services in the entire organization and collaborate closely with LOB Engineering, PMO, Service Offer, Supply Chain, Manufacturing etc. You specify and develop the service requirements for new products to ensure a best-in-class maintenance and service experience for our customers.

In this role you will initiate, manage, monitor the progress, quality, adherence to schedule of projects. You will define schedule, resource need, scope and work with resource managers to identify resource and assign activities. You are responsible for specifying the Services deliverables, planning the Services tasks (Service offer, Spare parts, technical documentation, training) and directing the project execution up to completion.

  • Key success factors will be your ability to manage several projects and initiatives in parallel, while establish and maintain effective working relationship across time zones and cultural boundaries.

ESSENTIAL/PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

  • Work closely with the Services Offer teams to explore the needs and expectations of our end users, Field Service to team to develop innovative service offer/solution for our products.

  • Associating closely with Product development team to represent Services to manage and fulfill deliverables, and influence the Product team during incubation/design phase to incorporate services requirement

  • Participate in improving partnership between Line of Business, Engineering and Supply-Chain / Manufacturing organization.

  • Define Services Project schedule, resource requirement, scope, deliverables, evaluate business priorities, identify and mitigate risk.

  • Conduct regular meeting with stake holders to discuss and monitor project progress and take decisions to drive them to reach closure.

  • Report detailed project progress, risk, cost and milestones to Services management, thus maintain visibility.

  • Drive the Execution of all the Services activities during a product introduction/evolution ensuring the Project Reporting & Communication (Services Offering, Services related documentation, Technical Training, Field Services Bulletin, Spare parts)- Ex below

    Define the Spares offer considering current spare Inventories and stocking policy for active and phase out products.

    Work with Field Service team to understand the service requirement, study historical services data, filed issues thus prepared to involve very early during product evolution projects.

    Work closely with Product Engineering and PMO to define, influence them for the service requirements, represent Service organization and fulfill service related deliverables.

    Work closely with Offer team to prepare services offer launch.

    Manage and coordinate Part Qualification Request (PQR); assign activities to members of the process and validate it up to Industrial completion.

    Work with tech writers to create, update and review of Services technical documentation (manuals, procedures) of products to ensure accurate
    technical information for Services organization.

    Monitor the update and review of the training materials to field support functions and help to design and implement training plans.

    Manage Field Services Bulletin to notify the Field on the Product Change describing On-site instructions.

Manage spare part creation in the system, work with Industrialization team to qualification and release process of spare parts

Requirements:

  • BA/BS Technical degree

  • PMP certification desired

  • 5-7 years’ experience in total

  • 3 years’ experience in Project management
