Essential Duties and Responsibilities

This position will perform detailed embedded software development for new products at the company's Technologies facility in TaiCang. This role will report to the Cluster Team located in Lancaster, PA. This position is expected to execute the following functions:

1. Develop Software Specifications based on hardware capability and customer requirements

2. Develop Software Test Plans

3. Implement Software FMEA's

4. Develop Software Flow Diagrams

5. Execute code in C for microcontrollers

6. Document Software Design and change revision control

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering

2. Minimum 5 years proven success in low level software development

3. Strong C programming skills with emphasis on embedded systems

4. Hands-on debug skills with JTAG, simulators/emulators, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc

Required Experience:

1. Experience with OS development to include: Boot Loaders, drivers, BSPs, kernel and files system is a hard requirement

2. Experience with J1939 and CAN bus is a strong plus

3. Experience with ARM SOC(s) such as Freescale Semiconductor i.MX product line and software development for automotive or industrial applications is preferred.
