Essential Responsibilities:

• Deliver

· Lead design and multi-functional teams to execute QVE ideas, EOL and Sustenance projects effectively.
· Manage project teams and processes dispersed across multiple time zones.

· Coordinate with manufacture and supplier chain team to execute and implement the tasks and align with deviation project process and material exposure management.
· Identify root cause of problems, offer options and solutions to resolve issues
· Handle multiple projects simultaneously
· Work with functional management to have project staffed appropriately

• Lead

· Build trust and consensus for effective project collaboration.
· Work Independently with little or no supervision
· Advance corporate competencies and process through continuous improvement activities

• Exercise Project Discipline

· Create and own project plan (schedule, resources) to meet project expectations, ensure quality on-time delivery (TTM Goal)
· Contribute to pursuing effectiveness and efficiency.
· Coordinate all support activities to meet Quality, Cost and Delivery.
· Analyze, anticipate, quantify, and mitigates risk (technical, schedule, manufacturability, application, etc.)
· Maintain a risk register to co-ordinate, record and manage potential issues and follow mitigation plans through to completion.

• Follow Company Processes

· Manage to internal Schneider Electric new product development and quality
documentation processes.
· Execute and implement all work aligned with the new product development process
· Educate team on the deviation project process, and process experienced.

• Report

· Report status of project activity to CE Manager and other stakeholder as needed.
· Communicate and manage changes in project scope to departmental and cross functional teams
· Be responsible for project metrics for schedule, cost, quality, customer satisfaction

• Improve

· Interface with Cross-functional teams and Corporate to continuously improve the project implementation procedure and process
· Improve factory and field product quality
· Implement and support organizational, workload, and process changes
· Contribute towards performance reviews in partnership with functional managers

Education

• Technical degree in electrical engineering or computer science, advanced degree preferred

• PMP Project Management Professional credential preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 4 years in design experience; 5 years of project management experience

• Power electronics background preferred

• Experience with international cultures

  skills

• Project and basic business financial knowledge.

• Experience with computer, office, MS Project, defect tracking tools.
