 Job Description:

 In close collaboration with HQ Supply Chain and Quality Inspector, the accountabilities of this position include:

• Supplier Management: - assist with supplier performance evaluations & improvement and coaching

• Booking Management - follow up open POs / shipment booking and work with HQ Supply Chain to approve shipment booking

• Production Execution – follow up open-order report, resolve problems that cause delay through working with supplier and diverting issues to relevant teams to develop corrective action plan

• Documentation Management – follow up DI order and make booking on-line;

• Shipment Management - Follow up space issue with freight forwarder and re-prioritize delivery through working with HQ Supply Chain.

• Report/Data Analysis & System update and perform good receipt in system

Reporting to MRP Manager the Supply Chain Specialist has 6 primary areas of responsibility:

1. Supplier Management

2. Booking Management

3. Production Execution

4. Documentation Management (Direct Import)

5. Shipment Management and Report/Data Analysis

6. System Update

            

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Bachelor degree (or equivalent) in Business, Manufacturing or Supply Chain discipline (will consider extended experience in lieu of completed degree)

• 5 years experience in direct interaction with Asian factories; Manufacturing Assessment and Order & Shipment Management

• Strong shipping knowledge in Direct Import (DI) deliveries / documentation will be preferred

• Experience in planning or managing production schedules in a factory with knowledge of Letter of Credit

• Fluent English & Mandarin

• Detail oriented - Independent problem solver with self-initiative and able to work under time pressure & tight schedule.
