The Technical Solution Manager role will assist Digital Science/Informatics Sales Team to achieve annual booking and revenues targets. Key tasks will be developing successful software solution presentations as they apply to customer/prospect needs, includes qualification, demo preparation, and delivery of demonstrations of Digital Science software portfolio for LIMS, ELN, SDMS, and workflow applications. Keep up to date with industry knowledge in the major market sectors we serve and be technologically aware, understanding the latest trends in I.T./new technologies and how and why they are used.
Responsibilities:
1,Understand the business and technical aspects of sales in Bioanalytical, QA/QC, R&D, and Environmental Monitoring in both regulated and non-regulated environments;
2,Develop successful technical proposal and solution presentations for specific prospect needs, provide RFPs technical and functional responses;
3,Understand the generic strengths and vulnerabilities of major competitors and ensure that the sales approach is consistent with overall technical capability;
4,Review, editing and assistance in the creation/modification of customer documents;
5,Assists key account managers and partners in sales process to demonstrate solutions on site or through webex;
6,Assist marketing for new product promotion including trade shows, seminars etc;
7,Work with product management and development to feedback customer requirements for product enhancement;
8,Provide solution sales training to new sales personnel and partners;
9,Work with the Service Management team to ensure an effective, efficient and seamless transition to service operations upon completion of the sales process;
10,To ensure up to date industry knowledge of the major market sectors and IT technologies;
11,Build services and programming code and make instrument integration (desired).
Qualifications:
1,Bachelor’s degree or above.
2,Minimum five years of presales, business consultant related work experience in enterprise software company.
3,LIMS background, strong industry know-how in pharma, chemical, food & beverage is preferred.
4,Ability to develop high levels of credibility and positive professional relationships with customers, peers, and upper management.
5,Excellent technical writing and presentation skills.
6,Strong requirement analytical and consulting skills.
7,Good communication (written and verbal) both in English and Mandarin.
8,Positive and proactive working attitude, able to travel, and work under pressure.
