Robarts Spaces is currently looking to fill at least one Senior Project Manager position in theirBeijing office. The person would ideally be well-rounded, but with particular strengths in terms of project management of interior design and architecture projects with experience with corporate, healthcare and/or education spaces. This would include a deep understanding of design, construction, and project procedures. Being well-versed in the M&E system, as well as other relevant trades such as IT and furniture would also advantageous. We are ideally looking for someone who has already gained at least 5 or 7 years of experience with corporate interior design and construction, and who has a practical, creative, and skilful ability to manage projects. Primary responsibility is to manage projects from beginning to end by:

• Managing day-to-day operational aspects of projects and scopes of works

• Work as the liaison between all project team members, including the client, the designer, engineers, contractors, venders, and suppliers

• Responding to the client’s needs and coordinating with the contractors, venders, and suppliers

• Creating and executing work plans and revise as appropriate to meet the rapid change of needs and requirements of the project

• Reviewing deliverables prepared by team before passing to clients and contractors

• Working closely with the client, the design team, engineers, and construction team and overseeing the project process

• Preparing feasibility studies, cost estimates, and project schedules, monitoring of the project schedule and budget the project’s duration

• Inspecting the construction site and making sure the design is properly carried out and construction quality meets our high standards

• Effectively applying our methodology and enforcing Robarts Spaces’ standards, minimizing our exposure to risks on projects

• Chairing project meetings and site meetings, and preparing clear reports and meeting minutes

• Ensures project documents are up-to-date, complete, and filed appropriately

Other

• Ideally, candidates should have at least 5 or 7 years of relevant experience in the corporate interior design and construction field

• Are familiar with the Beijing building codes and regulations

• Have a knowledge base of the health and safety standards and green policies

• It is preferred but not essential that candidates have a background in architecture/interior design
