Job Task:

Essential Function 1: Material Characterization and Testing

1.Perform material characterization and testing; Operate equipments such as DSC,TGA,Tensiometer,SALS,Rheometer.

2.Operate mixer/ dispersing equipments for lab sample/spcimen preparation and testing.

3.Keep good documentation of testing, including experiment procedures, raw data and analytical report.

4.Write Standard Operating Procedures for lab equipment.

5.Perform instrument calibration and maintenance according to plans.

Essential Function 2: R&D project execution and Product support

1.Provide R&D project support focused on rheology and application in collaboration with a Scientist.

2.Provide trouble-shooting support during lab work conduction to meet the requirements of cross BU customers.

Essential Function 3: Administration / Organizational Objectives

1.Organize and maintain laboratory according to local legal requirements and Clariants guidelines.

2.Documentation of all lab relevant data.

Requirement:

Education:

Degree in Physical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Chemicals ,Material Science, or equivalent. (Prefer MSc with 0-2 year experience, or B.Sc. With 2-5 year experience)

Business experience: Preferred if two or more years experience as lab technician or chemist in synthesis and/or formulation

Clariant experience: Clariant experience preferred, but not essentialAdditional Qualifications: Language: Fluent Chinese; self-confident English in oral and writtenA proven track record of working in cross-functional and multi-disciplinary teamsSound Computer knowledge on Windows ®, MS OfficeLoyalty, strong motivation, good communication skill and Self-confidence
