Key Responsibilities:

Lead a team of top manufacturing engineering talent responsible for the introduction and sustaining technical support of equipment, process and product, including equipment and process qualification, assets management, upgrade, preventative maintenance manufacturing and testing, assembly instructions, technical evaluation of suppliers, bills of material, packaging and compliance requirements.

1. Lead the manufacturing engineers to assist and accomplish daily production duties, assist with build, debug, training and installation of new equipment/Process to support defined production goals and requirements
2. Oversee the manufacture and test of prototypes for customer evaluation of new products to support customer specifications, operations and technical marketing requirements
3. CIP and lean projects to re-design product options, manufacturing equipment, tooling and processes which improve product yield, cycle time or other key metrics and get financial return as result
4. Ensure Engineering evaluates, enhances and maintains existing products. Design of Experiment methodology followed in building models of components, assemblies, and products to verify design and associated manufacturing processes in specific area of responsibility. Define escalation processes for communication of issues and concerns
5. Works with production department to set up production line and manufacturing processes for NPI and solves the technical issue. Work with sourcing department on localization projects. Take lead on NPI as needed.
6. Participates on the Product Development team with responsibility for the required elements of the manufacturing plans, process information and associated cost date analysis. Advise R&D on applications of special processes.


Requirements:
1.A degree in electrical/electronics engineering, computer engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, or similar field is required; graduate degree is preferred.
2.Fluent in MS office and CAD, proficient oral and written English and Chinese communication skills.
3.At least 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering with at least 3 years managing a team.
4.Experience with high volume manufacturing or new product introduction. Direct experience in launching products required.
5.Working knowledge of Quality Systems.
6.Familiarity with injection molding, understanding of electrical and mechanical control for automated manufacturing equipment, linear and rotational mechanisms, pneumatics and industry compliant safety devices is desired. Understanding of tooling, jigs and fixtures design.
7.Experiences in using of process control tools such as FMEA, Control Chart, Cpk Analysis. Ability to define problems, collect date, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
8.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several abstract and concrete variables.
