职位描述
This is a newly-created role to support ASM's growing operations in China. The role will be based in the Legal Department and is directly under the supervision of the Legal Director & General Counsel.
Job Description:
- Understand, follow, and enforce Legal Department policies and procedures.
- Advise on legal issues involving the Group's compliance with China regulations and laws.
- Anticipate and guard against legal risks involving the organization.
- Coordinate legal matters handled by external counsel.
- Work on legal issues where independent judgment is required, in order to determine appropriate action.
- Receive little or no instructions on routine work and some general instructions on new projects.
- Recommend changes to organizational policies/procedures involving legal issues.
Experience and Skills Requirements:
- Law Degree issued by a recognized Chinese University is essential
- Strong experience on commercial transactions and contract negotiations would be advantageous
- Good verbal and written communication skills in Chinese and English.
- Good problem solving skills.
- Good organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Good knowledge of legal decision making and legal research skills.
- Ability to work well with colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as a team player.
- Ability to resolve conflicts effectively and efficiently.
