Responsibilities:

Marketing is your passion, but you’re a leader first and foremost. You will be working closely with the sales and marketing teams and the Leadership Team to design and deliver campaigns that are aligned to our business strategy.

ThoughtWorks is adapting to a rapidly changing market. As Head of Marketing, you are able to go deep into the perspective of our target audiences and support the leadership team to create messages that help us reach the market position that we aspire to occupy

You will develop and execute marketing strategy across China, closely aligned with the overall region’s and global business priorities. You are comfortable setting strategy, as well as being a hands-on executor

Work closely with the tech and demand leaders to develop Go-to-Market Strategies for new offerings or industry segments, and support Employer Brand initiatives

 You will design, plan and oversee execution of activities across all channels: tailored proposals, digital and social media channels, engaging events and PR

 Content is king. You will be responsible for the creation of strategic client stories as well as driving premium executive content While you are not frightened to do things yourself, you are comfortable building a lean, engaged and collaborative team to work under your guidance and mentorship

You will provide mentoring, guidance and support to your marketing team, to continually improve and evolve the craft of the individuals and the marketing capability as a whole

You’ll be undertaking market research, customer feedback, ensuring robust post-campaign evaluation and periodic reporting, to shape on-going innovation and improvement across all activities

While you don’t need to be a maestro of visual design yourself, you’ll have an eye for good design and should be able to work with our designers to get the right results

 

 Requirements:

6 – 13 years proven marketing experience preferably in a technology B2B environment

Experience working closely with senior level executives

Experience developing strategic marketing plans, monitoring performance and managing budgets

Experience in hiring, training, developing, supervising and appraising personnel

Experience working with a global team

Background in event planning and managemen

Familiar with Marketo, or equivalent marketing automation system

Familiar with Salesforce, or equivalent CRM

Outstanding analytics capabilities: provide reports that drive insightful recommendations to the business

Proficiency in excel to analyse and present data

Experience working with PR agencies and identifying opportunities for relevant media coverage

Oversee the design and production of design materials (online and offline)

 Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
