Key Job Responsibilities:
1. Provide frontline, system-level technical support to cellular customers in Taiwan during all phases of customer's product development and manufacturing
2. Travel to the customer site as needed to provide technical support, demonstration, training, system installation and troubleshooting services, and liaison with AE and System Apps customer support resources to resolve issues
3. Promote LitePoint solutions, and present LitePoint products and roadmaps to prospective customers.
4. Identify business opportunities with the sales.
5. Analyze customer's technical requirements, identify industry trends, and provide input to sales and management.
6. Be alert to competitive products and marketing campaigns and keep sales and management informed.
7. Develop strong customer relations at a technical level, to gain further insight to direction and needs of the customer.


Qualifiers:
1. BSEE required, MSEE preferred
2. 3-5 years test and measurement experience in the wireless telecom industry
3. Prior cellular FAE/AE experience and enjoy working with people in a technical support role.
4. Prior experience developing and/or using automated RF/Wireless test systems a plus.
5. Knowledge of the RF PHY requirements for the following wireless communications standards:
Cellular WCDMA, GSM/GPRS/EDGE, EVDO/HSDPA, LTE
GPS, A-GPS standards as they apply to cellular
802.11abgn WLAN and 802.15 Bluetooth 2.x, 3.x knowledge a plus.
6. Hands-on experience making RF/system level measurements per governing specifications and standards.
7. Fluent in operating RF/system level test equipment such VSAs, VSGs, SAs, SGs, O-scopes, Power Meters, Vector and Scalar NA, Wireless communication testers, etc.
8. Excellent troubleshooting, analysis, and problem solving skills
9. Enthusiastic about meeting the challenge of providing world class engineering services.
10. Strong presentation, written, and verbal skills
11. Fluent in both spoken and written Mandarin and English
12. This position involves frequent travel throughout Japan and international (30-40%)
