Support the retail market private label GM Activity Plan

    

·         Working closely with the Merchants and Packaging Team in retail markets,  you will deliver Best in Class Packaging Solutions and Design Execution – Ensure all primary and secondary packaging structure is developed and delivered as outlined by the retail market Packaging and Design Teams against the established Critical Path Process, Print Guidelines, Artwork Guidelines and related Packaging Policy.

    

·         You will be the hub for FE structural packaging engineering and will be responsible for liaising closely with the Packaging & Design Teams in the retail markets.

    

·         You will be responsible for ensuring that all primary and secondary packaging is developed and structured to the agreeable standard, budget and timeline.

    

·         You will be responsible for ensuring that all packaging prints to the agreed standard, again securing lead-line approval from the Print Manager/retail market print team before then approving subsequent lines yourself

    

·         You will support the Senior Specialist, Packaging and work with Manager, Print Packaging in managing standards and performance in the retail markets’ Approved Packaging Supplier Base.

    

·         Innovation – Delivery consistent GM artwork across multiple brand execution in store across customer touch points. Examine alternative processes in addition to push boundaries, where appropriate, to deliver innovation to retail markets either in the form of constructional packaging or new packaging format and technology advancements. Bring Far East insight and experience to deliver the retail market led related packaging and print development/adaptation methods.

Process & Project Management

• Ensure that packaging solutions in terms of engineering and structure, are landed on time by engaging with the relevant stakeholders at the right time and communicating clearly and credibly with stakeholders at all levels throughout the market’s brand processes across the full retail market GM and FE teams.
• As a gate-keeper for the packaging integrity in terms of fit-for-purpose and protection performance by working closely with Sourcing and MQE at black & gold seal sample approval process.
• Vendor support – provide structural concept & technical packaging support to vendors to ensure packaging consistency of generic referencing
• Responsible for supporting continual improvements to ways of working, processes, and documentation
• Provide weekly updates on project status and category alignment, cost saving projects, innovation and range development progress, issues and barriers.  Ad hoc case study production and reports as deemed necessary.
