Application Support Specialist (ICT-OP-MY-041-12)

Job Description:

- The Application Support Specialist will analyze, investigate, document and manage client support requests.
- Effectively manage tasks related to hands-on technical enterprise software deployment, client support, software Q/A, training and implementation of projects
- Conduct ongoing application testing
- Take an active role in the creation, testing and implementation of software version upgrades
- Work with customers to define requirements and implementation details to successfully customize and deploy the suite of products
- Hands-on technical enterprise software deployment support
- Interface with the Software Development team as needed to successfully support clients and end users in using the suite of products.


Requirements:

- Degree holder, preferably from a major university
- Knowledge at a Systems Administrator's level, specifically of Windows server infrastructure in a web-centric production environment with solid IIS knowledge
- Strong understanding of Microsoft server technologies and security related to Microsoft technologies.
- General knowledge of Internet & network technologies/protocols: FTP, COM+, DTC, LDAP and Firewalls
- Database experience using SQL Server 2005 and/or SQL Server 2008, including the following
~ Database Backup and Restore utilities
~ Data Transformation Services (DTS)
~ Stored Procedures
~ Security Management
- Experienced in working with customers and internal resources to deploy a product.
- Strong communication, writing, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Very good English and Chinese communication skills
