Position Description:

·Implementation of strategic & operational plans so as to provide quality assured products which meet Wal-Mart Global Sourcing corporate policies, rules, standards, national regulations and product briefs

·Responsible for coordination of product quality project management from 'end-to-end' of the development and manufacturing process - ensuring that products are safe, meet the legal requirements of the country it is being shipped to and meets country performance requirements

·Review buying briefs with Sourcing and Merchandising and communicate with Product Category MQEs.

·Carry out returns and complaint analysis, including investigating specific quality issues, identifying risk, root cause and putting in place corrective actions and future preventative measures where necessary.

·Primary focal contact for all Quality & Technical functions between the Retail Market & GS

·Support Supplier Conference and Buy Trip

·Coordinate and align with QA Operations on process and system improvement

·Review monthly KPI and Quality performance and drive improvement actions

·Setting priority and action focus on hi-risk and high volume categories



Minimun Qualifications:

·Unviersity - 4-year degree / bachelors of Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Scientific disipline

·Proven Project Management skills

·Technical expertise in area of product responsibility and able to teach team to broaden capability and product knowledge.

·Analytical and problem solving ability.

·Business and commercial understanding.

·High integrity and business ethics.

·Excellent communication skills.

·Good spoken and written Japanese & English

·Able to manage complexity and multiple tasks / projects.

·Team Player

·Able and willing to travel as required.

·7-10 years expereince in a Retail Buying office or Tests Laboratory environment, and a knowledge of product assurance, engineering, value enginerring and manufacturing processes.
