The ideal candidate should hold a University Degree in engineering with at least 10 years experience in Managing People, Budgets, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Development, with multi-national Industrial companies. Sourcing/Supplier Development experience in any of the following areas: EMS, Mechanical, Casting and other metal products is critical for this role. Good working knowledge of ISO9001 and TS16949 quality processes is preferred. Strong leadership and communications skills are required, so as fluent English. 

Job Description:

1.       Sourcing new suppliers for EMS, Mechanical, Casting and other metal products

2.       Price negotiated and Factory audited

3.       Research – the situation of the supplier chain in Southeast Asia and their advantages and capacity.

4.       Strategic sourcing and backup for project teams.

 

Requirements:

1.  Engineering degree required (Mechanical/Electronic Preferred)

2.  Minimum of 8 years of work experience and more than 5 years in sourcing of EMS, Mechanical, Casting or other metal products;

3.  Fluent in English listening, speaking and writing, fluent in Chinese speaking, a language of other southeast Asian countries is preferred, such as Vietnamese, Thai, Indian;

4. Well-known the supply chain situation, manufacturing capacity and advantages of southeast Asia countries

5. Has knowledge of mechanical products (hardware, plastic) and electronic products and manufacturing process

6. Has knowledge of the import and export advantages of southeast Asia is a plus

7. Good supplier audit and improvement capability, Good working knowledge of ISO9001 and TS16949 quality processes is preferred. 

8.  Excellent supplier relationship management skill

9.  Honesty, Integrity, Responsibility and Cooperation spirit

10. Positive, Hard-working, can work under pressure, good planning ability and can travel frequently.
