Responsibility:

• Identify and implement efficiency savings that lower the material and/or manufacturing cost per unit, increasing PCH profit margin. Areas to be targeted but not limited to are an increase in UPH, an increase in raw material yields and raw material usage & a reduction in in-process fallout. Participation in E&O exposure reviews with the supply base team is mandatory.
• Manage and co-ordinate equipment / tooling schedule and capacity plan, in line with overall ramp readiness plan for qualification and production builds, with both component and FATP facilities, ensuring alignment to client projected demand with built in safety and/or yield factor. Schedule and lead a once quarterly continuous process improvement forum with the client QA team and supplier engineering and quality teams. The purpose of these reviews includes but is not limited to analyzing process cycle times, re-visiting line balancing & reviewing overall process efficiency and yield loss, with a view to improving production throughput and yields, reducing loss/scrap and removing unnecessary process/handling steps from the manufacturing process without impacting product quality.
• Participate in scheduled operations cost reduction reviews with the internal QA and supply chain teams, with a view to identifying areas where process improvements are possible to achieve the cost reduction targets set-out by the supply chain team. These reviews should focus on but are not limited to increasing raw material usage, reducing scrap & reducing process yield loss, without compromising product quality.
• Participate in project review summits with the wider client team after every product introduction, identifying lessons learned & outlining and documenting areas of improvement for future projects. Ensure that previous project lessons learned and improvements are reviewed at the start of every new project kick-off meetings.
• Arrange regular gate reviews with the product development and engineering support team to define and approve equipment, tooling, fixturing and manufacturing process requirements, to ensure best practices are being adhered to and engineering excellence can be achieved, for all new projects.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor degree or above and major in Mechanicals or Industrial Engineer;
2. Minimum 3 years' hands-on experience in relating fields in volume contract manufacturing for major OEMs;
3. Experience using CAD/Excel/Work/PowerPoint;
4. New Product Introduction experience;
5. Detailed-oriented, hard-working and with high integrity and can-do attitude;
6. Excellent team player and with good interpersonal skill;
7. Computer literacy;
8. Good Communication Skills, both English and Chinese;
9. Ability to work independently, communicate effectively with teammates;
