Senior Consultant/Consultant

Major Responsibilities

• Work as part of the team for IT Consulting projects (including but not limited to IT specialized audits, information security assessment and system implementation support, etc.)
• Prepare documentation, e.g., work program, request list, meeting minutes, client proposals and reports
• Facilitates meetings internally and externally
• Analyze client situations and provide IT advices to the clients
• Liaise with clients and management throughout the projects
• Supervise junior consultants when needed
• Assist management to develop different IT consulting solutions for the client through research on latest IT trends and industry standards

Qualifications and Requirements

Professional skills:

Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information System or related discipline 

2 years or longer of relevant IT working experience, e.g., IT general process areas and controls, application controls, security industry standards, data privacy, etc.   

Audit experience is a must

Working knowledge of the following is a plus:

1. information security management
2. enterprise data governance
3. enterprise security solutions
4. Basic knowledge about IT security regulations and laws such as ISO27001, China cyber security law etc.
5. business processes and risks in financial service industry

Good command of English and Mandarin (written and verbal)

Work experience in IT consulting firm preferred

Occasional travel will be required

Soft skills:

• Takes ownership of project responsibilities, e.g., delivering quality work plans, deliverables and proposals, etc.
• Exhibits mature and appropriate behavior and/or decision making ability in regards to project execution
• Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills
• Evaluates, synthesizes, organizes and interprets data and reaches logical, fact-based conclusion
• Comes forth with innovative and creative ideas
• Maintain poise under pressure, be able to multitask
• Highly motivated and enthusiastic, always willing to learn and share
• Accessible to personnel supervised and receptive to ideas presented by others
