Position

IT General Security Senior Consultant

Location

Shanghai

Major Responsibilities

• Primarily responsible for carrying out day to day fieldwork on general security and privacy related projects (including security assessment and design, privacy assessment, specialized security audit etc.)
• Provides support in IT audit and consulting projects, when needed (including IT audit, SOX assessment, system implementation support, etc.)
• Perform research on latest industry topics within the security and privacy domains
• Typical project tasks including but not limited to perform testing of relevant controls, interview key stakeholders, prepare documents, client proposals and reports, monitor and report project progress, analyze client situations and provide practical recommendations, etc.
• Liaise with clients throughout the projects and report to engagement manager of the latest progress

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information System or related discipline (Must have)
• 2.5 + years of relevant working experience (Must have)
• Familiar with common industry standards or regulatory requirements such as, i.e., NIST, ISO 27001, China Cybersecurity Law, GDPR, etc.
• Professional certifications, i.e. CISA, CISSP, CISM, CBCP, CIA, CFE, ISO 27001 leader auditor, or ITIL, are preferred
• Experience in general IT, security or privacy audit preferred
• Good command of English and Mandarin
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Good project and people management skills
• Occasional travel will be required
• Work experience in IT consulting firm preferred
