Job Objectives

This position, Brand Manager, will be responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of consumer based, strategic brand plans for the Chinese market. The position will play a central role in adapting strategy to Chinese needs and leading cross functional teams to execute the plans.

Job Responsibilities

1.Brand Vision Plan (BVP)

-Work closely with the brand company and corporate branding team on BVP;

-Translate of the Brand Vision Plan into the Brand Marketing Plan.

2.Brand Marketing Plan

-Leads application of insights to brand planning process and actions that will drive competitive advantage for their brand.

-Develop a concise statement of the consumer issue standing in the way to growth and resulting opportunity for marketing initiatives.

-Assisting in the execution of the integrated activity schedule ensuring consistency with Brand Key Vision and Brand Vision Plan including communication strategy.

-Accountable for the analysis of brand performance and brand health by constantly evaluating performance of national support activities and in-store implementation against measurable objectives (Brand Quarterly Tracker). This includes the monitoring of progress against key trial and awareness measures, quality of in-store support, distribution and availability per channel, e.g. place, pricing and promotions in-store and initiating measuring the effectiveness and ROI of key activities.

-Identifies solutions and make recommendations to improve effectiveness based on performance monitoring.

-Delivers specific brand projects e.g. co-branding with a major dealer.

3.Business Leadership

-Champion the assigned brand within the business and inspire and motivate key stakeholders to align on and implement the brand strategy and activation.

-Present proposals, briefs, plans and activities to top management, brand company, the sales team, customers, suppliers, etc.

-Building launch plans and channel strategies (promotions, media and POS), Customer sell-in and legal & regulatory issues.

-Lead cross functional teams to achieve key business objectives.

4.Financial Management

-Plan and control the spend required for each marketing activity to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of spend to reach the defined brand goals.

-Control all quotes from key partners and agencies to ensure we are continuously getting the best value.

Job Requirements

1.Bachelor degree above

2.At least 5 years relevant marketing/account management experience with reputable companies.

3.Solid brand management experience in both planning and execution.

4.Proven strategic, analytical and creative abilities.

5.Demonstrates proactivity and initiative with a good sense of ownership of projects.

6.Thrives in a team environment but is also self-motivated – demonstrates tenacity, resilience, strives to deliver results.

7.Open-minded and passionate; strong interpersonal and influencing skills.

8.Excellent communication and presentation skills; confidence to present formally to internal and external audiences with ability to bring audience with you.

9.Fluent in Written and Spoken English.

Salary and benefits

- Salary: pre-tax base salary (10K-20K) +performance appraisal + allowance, no discount on trial salary;
