职位描述
1. Undertake all day-to-day administrative tasks for Regional Account Managers and Regional Account Executives to ensure the team runs smoothly;
2. Oversee all account administration pre & post-agreement in order that agreements and invoicing are accurately completed by Sales Processing and Operation teams and access promptly granted to ensure successful sales conversion.
3. Assist Customer facing team to maintain high quality customer and transaction data in Business systems so that orders being consistently recorded, updated, and reported;
4. Conduct market, gap, and usage research/analysis to support and improve the targeted Product promotion and sales effort;
5. Act as a contact for agents/customers in the absence of relevant Account Manager to ensure that customer queries are answered in a timely manner. Support Regional Account Managers and Regional Account Executives to maintain a good customer relationship with key customers;
6. Continually develop and review department procedures, making sure they are clearly recorded, consistently updated, and shared to ensure the efficient running of the account management team.
7. Maintain online access and Trials access for Consortia and other key customers; provide local technical support and Customer service for all customers to ensure increasing value of our products through readership.
8. Assist with the organisation and follow-up of all events and conference trips to ensure their smooth running and to maximise sales effort.
9. Assist Finance in credit management for outstanding accounts, and work closely with Agents and Account / Executive to follow up payments;
10. Carry out basic ad hoc account activity in regions covered to ensure full advantage of all sales opportunities are taken
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
· Some previous experience in an administrative role ideally in publishing
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Educated to degree level or equivalent
· Highly skilled in using software packages such as Excel, with a proven aptitude to learn and work with new systems
