KEY TASKS/ PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE:

1. Work in tandem with brand & merchandising team to formulate buying strategy and pricing strategy.
2. Formulate the seasonal OTB budget in conjunction with merchandising planning whilst adhering to company objectives.
3. Monitor sales performance through in depth sales analysis, sell through and trends.
4. Manage merchandise distribution, stock allocation and merchandise re-ordering to achieve optimum sales, sell through and GP.
5. Attend overseas buying trip for order placement.
6. Constantly review efficiency of working practices to drive margin and sell thru.
7. Work in tandem with sales and operation team, marketing team and VM teams to ensure that retail promotions meet brand objectives and target.
8. Develop product information and training to front line staff to enable understanding of merchandise strategies as well as the range’s feature and benefit.
9. Responsible for defective claims and other merchandise related administrative duties
10. Store visits and meeting with front line personnel to ensure a good understanding of customer’s needs.
11. Maintain awareness of competitor price point and good understanding of brand and product positioning.
12. Mentor, coach and train junior merchandising members on work flow, process and procedures.
13. Any other duties or matters which may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements:
? Degree holder with minimum 4 years’ experience in buying for an international fashion company. Experience in ladies’ RTW and Accessories would be a bonus . Less experience would consider to be Associate buyer
? Good command of spoken and written in English, and Chinese.
? Strong business and fashion sense with good analytical skills
? A good team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
? Independent, multi-tasked and able to work under pressure
? Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint
