This role is not for a design engineer but a development engineer to work with our Product Development team to control and track the design and development that is done in conjunction with our factory partners. The hands-on element of this role will include the testing of samples and feedback of information to both the factories and internal stakeholders. This role has the capability to expand into a high-level role.

Skills / Personal

· More than 3 years of experience working with audio products

· Good basic understanding of Electronics and the development cycle for electronic products

· Understanding of embedded systems and software development

· Fluent English and Mandarin speaking (Cantonese also useful)

· Able to work within a team as well as independently using own initiative

· Exceptional organization skills, able to meet deadlines promptly

· Keen and willing to embrace new responsibilities and learn new technologies

· Able to travel in HK and China (largely Shenzhen)

· Good written English and ability to construct clear concise emails essential

Familiarity with:

· Audio products

· Audio Test Equipment

· Bluetooth and Bluetooth LE

· Embedded systems (Microcontrollers, DSP)

· Inter-IC communications such as I2C, SPI, I2S

· EMC Approvals (CE, FCC etc.)

· Safety Approvals (CE, UL etc.)

· Interest in Music Technology highly advantageous

· Familiarity with Acoustics highly advantageous
