BASIC PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

• Coaching to equipment engineers or equipment engineering technicians, lead the small functional team for the complex equipment development, continuous improvement and PM support for the current equipment. <span style="font-family: "&font-size: 16px">Assessing and reporting safety hazards associated with maintenance of equipment.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Co-work with process section manger, to lead the new technology or machines introduction

• Driving process      equipment performance, continuously improvement on OEE/weakness/single      point failure/quality concerns, etc.

• Implement action to      prevent occurrence of any nonconformities relating to product, process and      quality system.

• Identify key process      equipment and provide appropriate resources for machine/equipment      maintenance and develop an effective planned total preventive maintenance      system.

• Analysis of repetitive      equipment failures. Proceed in-house repairing as much as possible.

• Contact and      communicate with professional repairing specialist to ensure repairing      success. Evaluate availability of replacement parts for key manufacturing      equipment.

• Responsible for      monitoring the workload and work quality of subcontractor.

• Countersign &      control all 5 why issues raised with corrective countermeasures.

• Arrange specialist      procurement of fixtures, fittings or components.

• Write maintenance      strategies to help with installation and commissioning guidelines.

• Estimation of      maintenance costs and evaluation of alternatives, forecasting of spare      parts.

• Assessing required      maintenance tools and skills required for efficient maintenance of      equipment.

Dimensions / Scope

• Lead a functional team, include equipment engineers, technicians, relevant department members to a new or special machines set up and study.

• Lead a similar functional team above, to perform  a troubleshooting, or Lean Kaizen project  for SMT equipment

Interaction / Relationship

• Internal: Production/PMC/Quality/FE/EHS/Purchasing/Sourcing

• External: Supplier

Education, Qualification and training

• College education and major in electric or electronics. (Exception of education will be considered if whom have the actual experience above 10 years)

Experience or skills required

• Min. 5 years work experience in SMT & Wave soldering process

• ools

• Capable of English, read and written at least

• Should have the basic information security risk identification and judgment. 

Specialised knowledge or skills required

• Knowledge of ISO/TS  16949

• Knowledge of FMEA, SPC, DOE, and lean manufacturing
