Responsibilities:

• FE who reports to FE Manager, will be part of WDC customer facing team, works with sales/ marketing team to do as the storage product(HDD/SSD) presales and post sales technical support, technical consulting , product design in/win, sustaining quality management with solution.
• Be responsible for providing technical support for customer qualification and project on WDC HDD&SSD in surveillance customer application and solution
• Manages joint qualification/joint technical project with customers
• Major customers are surveillance customers.
• Deeply understand surveillance customer's requirement on storage application, and being a technical bridge between HDD&SSD storage technology and surveillance application technology.
• A strong sense of Technical Ownership of Customer, to manage technical resource and other support resource from WDC to come out the right solution to meet customer requirement, keep customer satisfied and improve Total Customer Experience.
• Be responsible for providing WDC HDD and SSD product lines, solution portfolios and technological vision to customer together with sales/marketing team of WDC.
• Well communication skill, work with local sales/marketing team and global cross-function teams to define, advocate and drive solutions-related product/feature commitments.

  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree holder or above in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or related discipline

• Minimum of 10 years relevant working experience in HDD/SSD field application or related exposure

• Have intensive knowledge of HDD/SSD or data storage product relevant experience prefer

• Familiar with different operating system on embedded system, e.g. Windows 8, Linux or others

• Experience in C/C++ language programming and corresponding tools

• Strong technical knowledge of storage interfaces: SAS, SATA, NVMe,etc                                                                                                        

• Skilled in using Oscillograph or logical analyzer

• Strong customer relationship management skills and report writing.

• Cooperative and self-motivated.

• Strong problem solving and analytical skills on storage product hardware/software issues

• Able to work under pressure and required to work over-time to meet tight project schedule

• Good communication skills in both Chinese and English and team work spirit

• Be able to handle multiple tasks

• Quick learning and excellent self-learning capability

• Frequent travel in mainland China to support customers are required
