MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES, AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Collect and define product specification and requirements by various approach(Communicate with PM&QA, original sample, catalogue, standard-such as UL, UPC, NSF,CSA….) to direct sample test &qc process.
• Test & evaluate supplier’s sample and workout QA evaluation reports. Audit suppliers quality system and create audit report to identify supplier’s qualification (include raw material management, manufacturing process, test system, packaging, engineering and quality control management).
• Solve product quality issue and lead CAR follow up process to drive root cause analysis, corrective action and preventive action implementation. Work with QC team monitor CAPA implementation during mass production and inspection.
• Offer technical support and consultation to sourcing team to facilitate sourcing project (project time line catch up coordinate, supplier qualification, product Evaluation, new product launch by new factory pre-qualification prior to on-boarding).
• Offer technical support to QC to perform quality inspection (create and update check-list, quality issue review. Lead QC team make decision during the inspection.
• Efficient communicate with EBM, Mach and PDM in USA on product technical side by supply product specification and industry regulation or standard. Take part in con call like PSR and PLR with good preparation.
• Work closely with service providers on surveillance audit (quality system assessment, process capability analysis and during-process inspection etc.) for the suppliers and their sub-tier suppliers through quality tools to quality them and drive their continuous improvement.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to eliminate roadblocks & communication barriers that may affect quality and delivery requirements.
• Work closely with US QA team to manage service providers to achieve good Pre purchasing test, Pre shipment inspection with related document (Like PR, test protocol, inspection requirement) and ensure compliance to relevant requirements from Company Integrity Policy, QA Standard Operating Procedures and MSA.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Technical Degree or above
• Know product performance and standard like UPC, NSF, CSA, ASTM, UL,Etc.
• 5+ years working experience of quality assurance for tools, electrical and/or Jan san, lighting, hardware products.
• Acquaint with different product’s performance, assembly relation and application environment. Familiar with Electrical product manufacturing process  

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & Competencies 

• ISO9001 auditor certified or trained is preferred. ISO9001
• Operate test equipment( strength test, voltage resistance apparatus and leakage apparatus)
• Self-discipline, self-starter, ability to work in cross-functional & global team environment.
• Passion for excellence with high integrity, commitment to quality, fluent in oral and written in English and Mandarin
