We are looking for a loss prevention engineer

Location: Shanghai or Guangzhou or Beijing

Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

? Site visits are documented using standard report formats detailing a variety of risks, presenting recommendations for risk improvement and avoidance, detailing and analysing exposures and establishing fire and other natural catastrophe loss estimate scenarios.

? Site work will require the ability to analyse construction, occupancy, protection, exposure hazards, capable to analyse different petrochemical process hazard, define worst case scenario in general industry and petrochemical industry.

? In addition to planning and executing site visits and technical consulting, the position is responsible for initiating effective communication of the results during closing conferences, including providing creative solutions to risk improvements.

Job Requirements:

To be successful in this role you will have:

? An engineering degree in Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical from premier Engineering Institutes.

? Petrochemical working background would be preferred

? Knowledge of loss prevention philosophy, facility maintenance and fire protection. EHS background would be preferred.

? Knowledge of machinery breakdown equipment risk assessment capabilities and other occupancy specialists’ skills are desired skill sets, but are not required.

? Good command of spoken and written Chinese (Mandarin) and English

? Professional Engineer or Certified Fire Protection Specialist Designation is desired but not required.
