Project Manager

SUMMARY OF JOB:

The Project Manager is accountable for ensuring that the project meets
its goals for customer satisfaction & quality, time to market, development
expenses and product costs. In other words, to ensure meeting the profitability
target of the project while managing end to end all the functions from the
voice of customer up to the supply-chain enablement and going through the offer
development.  This position will lead project
to deliver Cooling offers for Data
Center Market to customers worldwide and under a tailored stage-gate process
management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Project Manager mission:

• Understand the trends of the targeted segments
  and targeted competitors.


• Create and formalize the business plan
  with project core team and get alignment with product steering committee.


• Manage the development of all project
  activities from the initiation to the closure, covering the scope of all
  Functions.


• Develop, with the Project Team, the
  Project Management Plan and keep it up to date during the life of the
  project.


• Define & manage the project budget,
  resources and schedule.


• Organize, lead and motivate the project
  team and synchronize the team with the other teams.


• Empower the functions to take ownership of
  the project objectives.


• Lead the decision-making process at the
  project level and at the right time.


• Apply risk management techniques to
  identify the risks and issues and implement effective risk response plans.


• Manage the overall project planning,
  organize arbitration and, in the event of deviation, propose .and
  implement corrective actions.


• Provide the project evaluation and project
  status to management on a regular basis.

Project Manager responsibilities:

• Be customer and business focused.


• Set the vision with project stakeholders.


• Stay focused on impacts and not on issues.


• Tailor the project plan in line with
  project goals, looking for efficiency.


• Anticipate project situations and
  behaviors and manage them efficiently.


• Build and maintain team motivation.


• Lead and be force of proposition for the
  make or buy decisions.


• Provide leadership and guidance for the
  functional leader. Be decision maker in the best interest of the company,
  under delegation of the product steering committee.

EDUCATION – MINIMUM REQUIRED LEVEL:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or
  equivalent, advanced degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE – MINIMUM
REQUIRED:

• Engineering or Industrialization
  background.


• 7-10 years of experience.


• 5+ years of project management experience.


• Experience in managing project including
  hardware, firmware /or software development.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS –
REQUIRED:

• Excellent leadership, communications,
  listening, conflict management and interpersonal skills.


• Strong analytical problem solving and
  organizational skills.


• Strong English writing and oral communication.


• Excellent decision-making and ability to
  thrive in a dynamic environment.


• PC software proficiency (Excel, Word,
  PowerPoint, Scheduling tool).


• Solid Financial knowledge.


• Work with minimal supervision.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS –
DESIRED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL:

• PMP Certified.



• Experiences in managing projects for Data
  Center System.

TRAVEL:

• Domestic and international travel as
  needed.
