Provide supplier qualification expertise across a broad electronics commodity base to ensure suppliers are fully qualified for Flextronics use. Includes resolving any identified corrective actions from the assessments. Further role is to participate in Supplier Quality process/program development activities as defined by management.

Responsibilities:

? Work with Global Commodity Management teams to ensure that new suppliers are fully qualified with any associated corrective actions resolved.
? Participate with Supplier Quality project teams to develop supplier quality programs to enhance supplier management in Flextronics.
? Assist Supplier Quality team with regional implementation of supplier management programs
? Coordinate and participate in periodic training of Asian sites on supplier management programs..
? Use the data of supplier performance rating to drive continuous improvement.
? Reporting / Presentations as needed.

Job Requirements *
? REQUIRED Basic Qualifications (must have skills):
? Demonstrated knowledge of Supplier Quality Management and Auditing skills (ISO9000, VDA6.3, or TS16949)
? Basic knowledge of procurement, supplier, manufacturing and logistic processes and practices
? Knowledge of statistical methods (Cpk, X-bar & R control charts, etc) used in supplier quality management
? Ability to read. write, and converse clearly in English
? Software applications: MSOffice Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)

PREFERRED Qualifications (nice to have skills):
? 2 years of supplier quality experience with auditing capability preferred
? Detail oriented individual with excellent communication skills
? Tenacious capability to engage suppliers and follow through on requirements
? Comfortable managing time with competing demands
? Capable of traveling inside and outside of China as required.

Education or Training:
? BS in Engineering or equivalent
? ISO 9001 auditor training
