Position Summary:

Responsible for the defined work or project mainly including:

1.      Execute sourcing strategy and Improve supplier relationship

2.      Improve supplier performance in QDCRT (quality, delivery, cost, response, technical support)

3.      Effectively follow up NPD project from commercial point of view

4.      Source new product and new supplier  

Projects Follow-Ups

• Liaise and coordinate with stakeholders to execute the whole process effectively and efficiently including RFQ follow up, price analysis, sampling, product development, timeline, commercial negotiation, communication and supplier evaluation/audit, delivery etc.

Cost Saving

• Assist Sourcing Manager to identify and provide year on year costs savings through sourcing new suppliers, negotiations and value engineering activities

Supplier Management

• Execute sourcing strategy and Improve supplier relationship
• Provide assistance with Quality/MPE as for quality/production issues by means of driving supplier’s execution on the corrective action plan and policies/procedures
• Provide analysis on scorecard updates and improve supplier’s delivery performance with Quality/MPE’s assistance
• Source new product and new supplier

Commercial

• Provide Monthly/Annually purchase reports and analysis
• Conduct initial supplier commercial assessment
• Responsible for commercial discussion with supplier such as NDA, tooling agreement, payment term, lead time, delivery term etc.

Others

·         Administrative & temporarily assignments

·         Supplier visits and attend sourcing fair

  Required Qualifications:

·         Bachelor Degree qualified in a business-related discipline.

·         At least 3 years of progressive experiences in supply management,

·         Good communication, strong commercial sense and analytical skill,

·         Detail-oriented and accountable team player

·         Able to work under pressure

·         Well-developed written and verbal skills in English

·         Good computer software skill in MS office, SAP Knowledge

Preferred:

·           Experience in kitchenware industry as sourcing/purchasing

·           Cross functional project management experience

Travel Requirements:

·         Required to travel by car, air, train up to 15% of the time; mostly domestic
