General Responsibilities:
The Assistant Product Manager would report to the Senior Product Manager, China. The incumbent would be a key member of the Business Unit Organization to develop and execute regional product development plan for the PnP Product BU for China through working closely with the Regional and internal sales Manager and team and Global Product Management team to achieve business top and bottom line objectives.
Specific Requirements
Develop, communicate, and execute product marketing plans and go- to- market strategies and accountable for profitability for the PnP BU in China and assess the development of marketing programs and the effectiveness of marketing expenditures.
Identify and recommend new product concepts through market research and end user study. Closely monitor industry trend, competitive landscape and opportunities to drive growth.
Work with country business unit and marketing team to execute the Business Unit strategy. Create & maintain pricing structure to optimize revenue and profitability.
Work with Marketing Communication to translate product features and benefits into crisp, fact based and compelling value propositions and marketing messages, which can be leveraged by public relations and sales.
Take up ad hoc projects based when necessary.
Education and Experience Requirements
A minimum of Two years' experience in product marketing, preferably with product management experience acquired from a multinational consumer retail products organization.
Proven track record in developing and implementing go-to-market strategy for the consumer goods, preferably in China market.
New product launch experience and product life cycle management experience is a plus.
Ability to identify and create new sales opportunities or revenue stream through conducting marketing intelligence through the customers, channel partners and working closely with the Sales team.
Experience working in fast-paced and dynamic global and cross-cultural organization is required.
University Degree or Tertiary education in either Marketing or Business Administration or equivalent disciplined acquired from a reputable international University or Tertiary Institution.
Fluency in spoken and written English.
