Responsibilities

1. Shape the local certification procedures by liaising between R&D team, CM's and certification-office considering certification deliverables.
2. For assigned products ensure timely preparation and maintenance of local summary of product characteristics, product documentation, test samples, manuals, consumables and packaging material.
3. Ensure that all internal customers receive relevant information with regard to the certification status of the assigned products.
4. Secures timely and adequate information with regard to certification issues that need to brought to the attention of the management team, such as deletions, communication issues etc..
5. Takes part in product and launch teams to provide compliance input and certification strategy advise.
6. For new Local regulations, identifies and track change's/trends that might impact our business.
7. Ensure efficient and consistent implementation and use of internal product compliance databases and systems.
8. Ensure that files and archives related to product-compliance are kept up to date.
9. Follow up on specific regulatory assignments defined by Regulatory & Compliance Manager.
10. Responsible for developing and/or making changes to EE HW for existing and future printers to meet product specifications This would include supporting global R&D team and work closely with FW, Systems lead and QA to release final product. Person will also be responsible to support validation and compliance testing by working closely with the CMs.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, some experience in Mechanical engineering.
2. Familiar with product-certification in the electronic industry. CE/FCC/CCC/CB/GS/UN38.3/UL.....
3. Familiar with regulatory certification needs in the electronic industry (RoHS/REACH/FCC/ code of conduct in the electronic industry/USB certification... ).
4. Experience with certification for Wireless devices, aviation electronics, medical electronics
5. 5-7 years of experience in designing analog or digital systems required.
6. Ability to solve technical problems in a fast paced product development environment is required.
7. Demonstrate a working knowledge of EE fundamentals, analog and digital circuit design, PCA design and development, control theory, microprocessor architectures, and design-tools is required.
8. Be a team player. Ability to work and interact effectively with members and individuals from other disciplines, projects, functional areas, divisions, and companies is required.
9. Proficient in C and assembly program of embedded microcontrollers is required.
10. Familiarity and experience with e-CAD tools.
11. Be familiar with host, printer, firmware/hardware interactions and compliance issues.
