Essential Responsibilities:



We are looking for Development Quality Engineer for Earphone and Headphone expert to join our team in Shenzhen, China.



The responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

Deploy new product introduction quality process

· Deploy new product introduction quality process

· Measure/track NPI quality metrics based on mechanical, electrical, software, and acoustics disciplines

· Perform Design for Manufacturability, Assembly, Test, and Reliability assessments at DV thru PV stages

· Confirm Product Requirements Documents and Specifications clearly identify critical parameters and are incorporated into the design and test specification and are measured and verified to meet product specification

· Develop comprehensive test specification for mechanical, electrical, software and acoustics testing to include cosmetic limits

· Perform reliability assessments and develop predictive models to improve designs for reliability

· Develop comprehensive reliability test plans and specifications

· Foster teamwork with product development, regional quality and supplier teams to ensure total alignment of efforts and objectives

· Effective use of Design For Six Sigma tools and methods to drive improvements in product and process design



Basic Qualifications:




10+ years in development quality engineering with experience in combination of mechanical, electrical, software, and acoustics engineering disciplines
Certified Six Sigma Black Belt
Strong hands-on knowledge in the use of Design for Six Sigma tools and methods
Strong understanding of Chinese ODM environments and able to work across all disciplines in driving improvement
Strong electronics background in audio/video technology and development; design and test engineering a plus;
Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and influence skills
Must be experienced in Earphone and Headphone products
Must be bilingual in Chinese and English, both written and orally


Desired Characteristics:



Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin
Excellent written communication skills in English
Verbal Korean Language skill is preferred
Highly motivated self starter
Creative problem solver
Ability to prioritize

Eligibility Requirements:



Willingness to travel 20% of the time
Willingness to work in an office in Shenzhen, China
Willingness to submit to a background screen and a drug test
