Essential Responsibilities:

· Collect business and consumer needs, perform benchmarking and gap analysis and create iOS/Android

App specification

· Design and implement iOS/Android App for Multimedia and Home system products.

· Work closely with ID/UI/GPLM Team to identify mobile software opportunities for enhanced product

performance during product definition and spec-writing phase

· Work with other global team members to quickly integrate fully functional products.

· Architect existing platform to various products and oversee/lead system integration working with global

engineering teams.

· Keep track of the latest technological innovations and developments in the platform.

· Regularly documenting findings, recommendations, algorithms, software, Etc.

· The candidate should be able to function within highly talented specialized team environment with limited

supervision and is expected to coordinate with others to accomplish project tasks.

Basic Qualifications:

· 2+ years experience on iOS/Android App development

· 3+ years experience on software project management

· Strong experience in WiFi/Bluetooth/DLNA network technology

· Strong experience in software development and software process

· Skillful on various software engineering tools

· Good English speaker and writer, good presentation skill

Essential Responsibilities:

• Develop sound processing algorithms that enhance the sound of Harman products.
• Closely interact with Category Product Managers and cross-divisional peers (Automotive, Pro, CTG groups) to identify new ways to enhance sound.
• Take ownership of legacy sound algorithms and DSP platforms used in current products in order to provide necessary updates and ensure continued success
• Architect algorithms to various DSP architectures and oversee product integration working with global engineering teams.
• Keep track of the latest sound technological innovations and developments and work closely with sound algorithm partner.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be a self-starter who can take initiative and drive to successful conclusion
• MSEE, MSCE, MS/Ph.D. Mathematics, or advanced degree in Digital Signal Processing. PhD in the field of audio or acoustics is highly desirable.
• Strong Matlab experience
• 5+ years experience developing sound algorithms and proven record
