POSITION PURPOSE




To provide leadership to internal teams and suppliers, to use analytical skills to properly define and complete various lean manufacturing projects, and to assist the leadership team in implementing strategic improvements within the business. This position requires experience and skill set beyond the black belt training in line with the complexity of projects in which they manage.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES, AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES



1) Lead high impact improvement projects, including basic data gathering, scope development, preliminary design, cost benefit estimation, and manage timeline

2) Provide guidance and assistance to all process owners, lean improvement teams, and individuals in the area of lean tools, change management, and customer driven improvement

3) Lead and facilitate Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen events and utilization of Lean tools

4) Ensure rigor in project execution; phase requirements and timing

5) Organize and facilitate project phase reviews with BBs and GBs

6) Develop Lean Six Sigma strategies and provide guidance, coaching, and mentoring of executives and/or project teams with DMAIC LSS projects, and Kaizen activities

7) Deliver significant business impact related to Cost/Quality/Delivery project opportunities


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS



1) Bachelor's Degree
2) Must have a minimum 3 years' experience as a Lean Six Sigma MBB (must provide proof of internal or external certification)

3) Proven experience translating quality methods, statistical problem-solving techniques, Six Sigma, and Lean analytical tools in the manufacturing environment

4) Ability to be a team player

10) Results oriented with the ability to bring teams together to achieve targets and goals

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES



1) Strong background and experience in Lean manufacturing. A good understanding of Lean principles such as Value Stream Mapping, Just-In-Time, Demand Flow, Continuous Improvement Process etc

2) Demonstrated leadership, organizational, analytical and problem solving skills

3) Self-discipline, self-starter, ability to work in cross-functional & global environment and willing to work in a fast-paced environment

4) Communicate absolutes of Excellence and ensure that value stream management / owner organization structure is in place

5) Support specific area/department required by the ASO/SSC Leadership team

6) Passion for excellence with high integrity, commitment to quality, fluent in oral and written English, willing to take frequent travel and work with suppliers
