GDC Technology Limited is an international company that pioneers in digital cinema, media delivery and display technologies. We have customers all across the world (see www.gdc-tech.com) and expect significant growth in our business in the next few years. We are looking to expand our operation and have opening for the following position:


Research & Development Engineer (Stationed in Hong Kong office)


Responsibilities:

- Develop and support existing and new products according to business requirements
- Maintain and test products
- Handle technical enquiries at overseas exhibitions


Requirements:

- A degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 2 years' or more working experience is a plus
- Highly skilful in C / C++ multithreaded object oriented analysis and design
- Highly proficient in Linux (Redhat/Fedora) including command line, bash scripts, system API and network socket programming
- Knowledge of Qt GUI programming, video processing, OpenGL and CUDA programming is a plus
- Knowledge of scripting languages ( Bash, Perl, Python, TCL/TK )
- Good command in English and Chinese
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A fast and careful learner and good team player
- Strong attention to detail
