职位描述

Primary Purpose of Org. Unit
· Departmental / Regional oversight of sourcing activities including retail & sourcing strategy alignment, supplier alignment and order execution

Primary Purpose of Position:
· Responsible for leading a sourcing team to enable retail market strategy, drive value unlock, develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships, and ensure on-time execution of orders.


Essential Functions of the Job:

· Implement sourcing processes to ensure product is placed on a timely basis with the right supplier / factory.

· Establish/Approve and support the supplier matrix

· Develop best practices and process for exceptional results.

· Drive initiatives in department for alignment to the retail market strategy.

· Improve operating efficiency through better business planning and EDLC


Specific Duties and Accountabilities of the Job:

· Deliver cost leadership by targeting all segments of the supply chain and identifying cost saving and efficiency opportunities

· Develop innovative and outside-of-the-box sourcing initiatives

· Continuously develop cost component knowledge and support cost negotiations

· Build the best-in-class supplier matrix; develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships

· Engage suppliers and cross-functional partners where necessary for business developments

· Elevate operation efficiency by identifying and closing gaps in business processes

· Drive market exploration and diversification

· Promote supplier, product, and brand leverage across Walmart countries

· Lead with integrity and be the champion for responsible sourcing and sustainability

· Develop talents and provide appropriate trainings and environment to grow a team for success

· Anticipate market shifts and mitigate risks and develop contingency plans


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Other Requirements:

· Domestic and International travel required

· Deep product manufacturing and supply chain Strategic leadership, planning and thinking skills

· Value chain mind-set

· Cost negotiation experience

· Experience in assessing supplier capabilities & capacity

· Experience in pioneering new supply chains

· Knowledge of private label development (preferred)

· Experience with working in a cross-functional team environment

· Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate
