• Responsible for developing the process and installing new process technology

• Executes Process Characterization, conducts FMDRC & DOE if necessary

• Define Key Process Input Variable, Key Process Output Variables and formulates characterization/ DOE matrix. Conducts Characterization/ DOE Analysis

• Executes prototype builds, customer sample builds, qualification builds

• Executes design to cost optimization projects  

• Packaging and Tooling Engineering - define POR, BOT, BOM, BOR

• Conduct cost of ownership and define purchase specs of new equipment

• Define machine capacity and UPH for new machine.

• Collaborates with ME to review existing/new machine, tools, conversion kits and fixtures of equipment used for NPIs. Work with them on the upgrades to support NPI development

• Validates newly designed jigs and fixtures, perform characterization if necessary

• Ensures Handshaking with Process Sustaining team and work together to run pre-production builds. Support in sustaining Product within 3 months of release and ensure smooth transition with Process Sustaining. 1st 500K MP

• Supports Process sustaining on the Key improvement initiatives (Major Issues)

• Ensures Process Development Engineering Key Performance Indices meet goal or exceeds goal

a) Education 教育:   

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering field. 

b) Experience经验:  

3 years semiconductor NPI experience in a specific filed (EOL R&D). Project management experience is an advantage  

c) Competency and Skills能力和技能:     

1. Knowledge & Skills for Specific Process Required (EOL R&D)

2. Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, D/PFMEA, DoE, Engineering Statistics and Data Analysis, Process Flow, Control Plan, DFM

3. Knowledge on Semiconductor Packaging & Assembly

4. Good Communication skill and negotiation skills, team work spirit and leadership;

5. Good English communication (Verbal & Written)
